Michelle Knudsen has worked in libraries in New York City and Ithaca, New York. She is the New York Times best-selling author of the Library Lion. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Valeria Petrone worked as a freelance illustrator for several years and has illustrated many award-winning picture books, including Brand New Readers: Fish and Frog by Michelle Knudsen. She currently lives in Italy.
