Creators
After graduating from Trinity College Cambridge, Non Pratt became a non-fiction editor at Usborne working on many bestselling series before moving across to fiction. She has been running the list at Catnip Publishing since 2009. Non lives in London with her husband and small(ish) child, and Trouble is her first novel.
Reviews
Non Pratt’s debut novel Trouble, is an entertaining and honest look at teen pregnancy.
A Sunny Spot Blog
This well structured and beautifully written first novel addresses adolescent sexuality and behaviour. It covers themes of fitting in by becoming someone you are not, friendship, family unity and love.
Buzz Words
Everything about Trouble hits the mark for me, from the writing to the plot everything was spot on.
Kkatie Reads
5 stars. Trouble is a story perfect for teens and adults alike, it takes a close look at subjects relevant to teens today and does so in a believable and moving way. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and I especially loved how English it sounded – good UKYA fiction shares the same qualities that make me love AussieYA fiction so much.
The Bookish Manicurist
One of my favourite reads of this year and I honestly can’t recommend this book enough.
Trin in the Wind
A very engaging novel for readers, probably girls, who enjoy real life stories.
