Reviews

A wonderful picture book to return to many times, whether to appreciate the changing art, identify allusions or consider various interpretations.Recommended for older readers and interested adults.

Magpies Magazine

The composition of both the illustrative text and the story In Paradise Sands: A Story of Enchantment is outstanding. Levi Pinfold creates a classical yet ominous and suspenseful atmosphere. He generates extraordinary narrative and emotional tension between the temporal and transcendental. It is a universal tale.

Paper Bark Words

Another surreal illustrated book for older readers is Paradise Sands: A Story of Enchantment (Walker Studio) by Levi Pinfold. To save her brothers, a sister must withstand three days of fasting while others feast. Original, allusively layered and technically brilliant.]
