Reviews
A story of empathy and friendship.
The Funday Telegraph
The story explores the difficulty in supporting a ‘frenemy’, especially when everyone else appears to have enthusiastically adopted her as a new friend. Miller says she was inspired to write by her youthful discovery that you can’t get along with everyone. Even, if you’re Olive.

Wholesome and super relatable, Clash will melt your heart.
Total Girl
Book 4 of the Click series of graphic novels does not disappoint. I really like this series of graphic novels especially as the themes of friendship and moving from Primary school to secondary and the challenges that are faced are so well discussed.

This amazing graphic novel explores growing friendships and the start of new things. Moving to a new town can be hard, especially under tricky circumstances. That is what happens to teen Nat. The book is about Nat and Olive, and the start of their rocky, but eventually smooth friendship. It has many messages about the importance of your actions, to always be respectful and inclusive of others. That’s what I love most about this book. I recommend it if you enjoy reading about friendships and for anyone who likes Kayla Miller’s Click series.
