Picture Storybooks
This beautiful, funny picture book perfectly captures the feelings of a child with a new baby in the family.
Once there was Daddy and Mummy and me. Then there was Daddy and Mummy and me and... Boo!
Boo can roar, kick and bite. But so can Geraldine. And she's not going to be left out! She roars very loudly, kicks Mummy and bites Daddy. Things are looking bad and only Geraldine's toys seem to understand her. But when Geraldine cries, Baby Boo cries too and suddenly everything changes. "Don't cry, Baby Boo," says Geraldine. "Don't cry." Now there is Mummy and Daddy and Geraldine and Boo, a happy family who all love each other.

Reviews
Sensitively written and illustrated, Marie-Louise beautifully captures the feelings of a young child adapting to a new baby in the family. I’d strongly recommend families in a similar situation to the family in the story to get hold of a copy of this lovely book and share it with the big brother or sister. It’s a good one to add to foundation stage collections too.
