Brodie
A sensitive story about how to deal with the death of a classmate.
Brodie always made us laugh. He’d wiggle his ears and yodel like a country singer. He was an awesome artist and drew heaps of planes and helicopters because he wanted to be a chopper pilot. We all knew Brodie was sick, but we never thought he’d die.

Absolutely outstanding: a must.

Highly recommended for all ages.
Magpies
A lump-in-the-throat story about coming to terms with loss.
New Zealand Herald
Brodie is beautifully written, sensitively and imaginatively illustrated. It introduces the concept of death and rather than shy away from it, allows children to face it; to ask the myriad questions it presents.
