Melissa Keil was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. She studied Cinema, Anthropology and Professional Writing and Editing at university. After a range of jobs – including high school teacher, waitress, and IT help-desk person – Melissa is now a children’s book editor and author.
Jedda Robaard grew up in a small coastal town in north-west Tasmania. She has studied drawing, printmaking, graphic design and typography, and currently runs an art studio for children. She lives with her family in Ocean Grove on the surf coast of Victoria, and shares her home with many furry and feathered creatures, including one slightly nutty dachshund.
