Antonia Barber
Antonia Barber is an award-winning author who has written books for both adults and children. She graduated from University College, London, B.A. (with honours), 1955 and has since written many books, including “Catkin”, illustrated by P. J. Lynch (short listed for the Kate Greenaway Medal), “The Ghosts” (runner-up for the Carnegie Medal), and “The Mousehole Cat”, which was Commended for the Kate Greenaway Medal, short listed for the Smarties’ Prize and chosen as the British Book Awards Best Illustrated Children’s Book of the Year in 1991 and subsequently made into an animated short film in 1994.
