Miriam Halahmy

Miriam Halahmy was a teacher and special needs educator for 25 years. She writes fiction for children and teens and her acclaimed books, which are inspired by contemporary and historic issues and events, include Hidden and The Emergency Zoo. She is a frequent speaker in schools, colleges and at book festivals. She lives in north London.
