Sue Heap

Sue Heap is a popular and award-winning author/illustrator. She was born in Hampshire, England but moved frequently as a child, spending periods in such exotic locations as Egypt and Singapore. Sue drifted to writing and drawing as a youngster and illustrated her first book at the age of twelve. Later she earned an art college degree and worked in a variety of positions in commercial art, including animation, before taking a chance in the competitive world of book illustration. Sue is best known for the Smarties Book Prize Gold Award-winning “Cowboy Baby”, its sequel, “Cowboy Kid”, and “Let’s Play Fairies”.
