Matthew Johnstone

Matthew Johnstone is an author, illustrator and photographer. After working for fifteen years in the advertising industries around the world, Matthew began to create books. His illustrated titles I Had a Black Dog and Living With a Black Dog have become staples on many bookshelves and are published in numerous languages. Matthew works part-time at the Black Dog Institute and is passionate about helping people understand mood disorders and teaching them how to build resilience. He lives in Sydney with his family.
