Alan Pollock

Alan Pollock is a playwright, best known in the UK for One Night in November, about the Coventry blitz. He came across the story of Woyteck while researching his play amongst the Polish community in Coventry and was moved by the youth of the soldiers involved. The Bear who went to War is his first picture book and he is currently adapting it for the stage.
